the beginning

as a simple being, i tend to not be one to avidly seek out the new hottest website. i’ve been extremely against writing blogs until just recently. i even had never truly divulged into the realm of message boards until less than a month ago. am i glad i have? well, it gives me something other than facebook to do on the Internet.

now a little background…
i happen to have been a huge Sims fan and then i got a mac. i counted down the days until Sims 2 came out, but of course i had to wait another year for all the scripts to be converted over to mac compatibility. as you can imagine, my interest span fell short. i had moved onto bigger things by the time Sims 2 for mac was developed.

today i was introduced to second life. a colleague of mine will soon be writing a story on the happenings within second life and asked me to explore the program for myself and comment back to him on what i thought. thus, a blog is born.
