The rumors of Led Zeppelin going on tour have been usurped by the rumor that they ain’t.

A band source told the U.K.’s Daily Mirror that singer Robert Plant wants to keep the band’s legacy as is, and the reunion show at London’s O2 arena will remain a one-off engagement.

LED ZEPPELIN TO TOUR 2008 W/ THE CULT?!

According to Billboard.com:
“According to an MTV.com report, Astbury told the crowd, ‘We’ll be back next year because we’re opening for a band you may have heard of … the name starts with an ‘L’ and has a ‘Z’ in it.’ After a fan shouted, “Led Zeppelin,” Astbury nodded and raised his arm in the air.”
